No prob, it was a great idea for a channel. Well, I know that when one thinks of a country like Ireland, they don't think "reggae", people probably think we're into folk music and country music, which is true...we are, but...we love rock and reggae too, so my tastes are pretty typical for an Irish person, or at least...someone from Dublin anyway, because in the rural areas reggae might not have quite the same hold. Reggae, for whatever reason, seems to have more appeal in urban areas. I think that's probably true in America too, feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. In Ireland and in Britain reggae is definitely more popular in cities. Dublin is the only true city that Ireland has, with a population of around 1.5 million, after that our cities get significantly smaller...then it's all towns and villages. As such, people from all over Ireland refer to Dubliners rather derisively as "West Brits". Dublin is on the east coast of Ireland facing Britain, so the implication of that term is that Dubliners aren't really Irish because we're not folksy, we are more international in our tastes, so...we are supposed to be Britain's most westerly city rather than an Irish city if you get me? In Britain reggae wouldn't be popular in the rural areas, only in the big cities really, all of which is unusual in a way since it's country of origin Jamaica...isn't a densely populated country, but there ya go.

Hawaiian reggae (?) I never hoid of it either until I was actually on the islands,
it’s local music for the state, it’s not big on the mainland , unless you bring it back with you,
which is much easier to do now with streaming or YT vs 20 years ago,
lots of great music happening, so just another reason for that Hawaii get away,
work is fine as long as I get good Zzzzz time to balance my increasing age !

Absolutely, reggae is very popular on this side of the pond too, especially in Britain. It's one of my favourite genres after rock and soul.

Thanks for the add. I think only you had the vision to create a reggae Channel on CS1. There were so many MJ channels and rock channels, but yours was the only reggae channel. Lovin these uploads.
