quite a few truckers I talk to say they don’t do loads to California any more, plus with gas stations closing due to the new legislation regarding gas tank underground storage requirements, double tank liners, as of Jan 1, gas stations get fined $5k or more daily if their underground tanks are not compliant, I’m guessing you know this

Wow, I totally get that. It’s rough losing access to channels like that. It feels like all that work just sits there. And yes, that “forbidden/fraud” block is such a headache. That glitch with the background switching sounds super annoying, especially when you’re trying to read or comment.

Absolutely, Rob! I feel the same way. It’s impressive what these admins have done, but it’s frustrating that none of the platforms have managed to stay completely reliable. It would be amazing to have just one fully funded, glitch-free site we could all count on without constantly hopping around.

I really hope some of our friends will give this place another try. If they’re getting an error when trying to sign up or log back in, they should turn off Wi-Fi and create the account using their phone’s mobile data instead.

I tried everything to get back on here and couldn’t make an account at all until I turned off Wi-Fi on my phone and signed up using my phone’s data connection. That was the only thing that worked for me.

I know JP, Likely, and many others who have tried to get back on here but couldn’t because of a “fraud” error or something similar. It feels like some IP addresses may be getting flagged, possibly by accident. I’ve reached out to Jacob multiple times about this issue and haven’t received any response.

I really wish people would put more effort into maintaining their sites if they’re going to keep them online, or else step back and let someone else take over. A lot of it is obviously a money issue. Server costs aren’t cheap, and if donations aren’t enough, the only alternative is ads, which nobody wants.

It’s just sad seeing these YouTube alternative sites that have so much promise but never really go anywhere. There really needs to be more than one person running them. I don’t know… it just upsets me. So many promising platforms wasted. I understand that life happens, but if that’s the case, sell the site or hand it off to someone who can manage it.

All is good on my end, just some strange weather lately. We’ve had well-above-average highs for a few weeks, then suddenly colder temps pushing all the way down here into South Texas. Another cold front is coming through this weekend too. So it’s shorts weather for a few weeks, then back to winter clothes for a week. Just this constant up-and-down pattern we seem to be stuck in. I heard you guys have had some insane temperature swings as well.
