.The more the pop song escaped from harsh reality into dreamlike bliss and feigned a cozy idyll of love, pain and lust, the better the true face could be hidden behind the many gentle minor tones.

BIG TROUBLE IN LITTLE CHINA? Kim Cattrall made it a worthy ride (no pun intended). The Chinese-made AI females will be the death of us all and those damn TARIFFS will make importing said AI a hard product to come by. But 2NITE'S GAME FOUR comes with the same wish; GOOD FORTUNE for your OILERS and the watch-party goers. Speaking of GOERS ~~~ Yes, the F1 race in Monaco is all about the presentation of its glittery participants. But the drivers haven't ventured too far from the French Riviera ~~~ next race (this Sunday) in BARCELONA. Beam me up, Scotty, and drop me off in Spain ~~~ Shakira can come too. ;p

Have a Great day up there and ENJOY tonight's game.

Yes, perhaps, McGarrett is a popular surname attached to Hawaiian lore. But BOOK EM DANNO is forevermore an ICONIC television line replete with the obligatory cavity search (yeah, I think he put the diamonds there). I am currently watching the LIVE feed of F1's race in MONACO ~~~ if there was an idyll created by God, this is surely it. But BLUE SKY abounds ~~~ as well, the pomp and circumstance of a prestart race. Angie and her beau like the F1 scene (Verstappen being her fav driver).

Wishing you and yours a FINE week ahead and your OILERS continued Good Fortune. I see the PANTHERS are well on their way to a consecutive STANLEY CUP appearance ~~~ edge to Brad Marchand. Speaking of EDGE ~~~ cheers to you continuing to fine tune yours. ENJOY your Sunday and what you may do to RELAX. ;) OFF I go to drink mimosas with the Jet Set. HA!

Aloha Nui Loa, as the locals might say. Or the obligatory kook JOJ (just off jet) or FOB (fresh off boat). But I must ask you this simple question ... WHY NOT ME and it relates to Vanessa LACHEY (i.e., NCIS-Hawaii). You know the COOL thing about the NCIS spinoffs? Mark Harmon seemingly has his hand (Executive Producer) in all of them. Not too bad for a former UCLA quarterback and son of a former Heisman Trophy winner.

I'm sure that I regaled you about the huge Samoan who chastised a J.O.J. kook for sitting on the eating part of a picnic table. Yes, the SPAM-inspired POI eating giant was none too pleased. I would have been like ... RELAX, DUDE! Cue ambulance ride to Honolulu General or whatever they call their respective acute-care facility. Have a great weekend up there and CONGRATS to your OILERS for taking GAME 2 from Dallas. :)

Yes, Mon Ami, sometimes LIFE feels like it's having its way with all of us. One step forward ... two steps back ... a Dosey Doe of sorts and God (having a keen sense of humor) does call the shots. But I am happy to see that your OILERS still have the advantage over the Golden Knights and I hope that means moving to the Conference Finals where either the Jets and/or the Stars await. But I am wrong with the AND ... because both teams cannot await ... one team gets to golfing much earlier than they wanted. I hope this short note finds all to be good in your part of Canada and that a FINE WEEK unfolds for your viewing pleasure. Speaking of viewing pleasure ~~~ I thought this IMAX trailer looked COOL. Amazing what Mssr. Cruise can do at his age ~~~ everything but keep the Hollywood chics happy. HAHA, Val Kilmer surely smiles. :) As always, THANKS for taking the time to flyby. Speaking of flybys ~~~ Qatar has supposedly gifted a luxurious plane to the President.

No, I really don't remember any of the popes, past or present, but - because they always pick aged men who have similarities - they all seemingly blend into ONE. Supposedly, prophecy states that the next Pope is the LAST POPE. Hopefully, Jesus does come back to Earth and literally sticks his foot up man's backside. We (the collective WE) have earned that prospect.

But - and I must apologize - Edmonton might want to contact the Vatican and have them bless the goalie crease. SIX goals against, but FOUR from your lads in the THIRD. Main thing is to regroup and take ONE OF THE TWO in Los Angeles. I hope this short note fids you well, Mon Ami.

Plus, you're a growing boy, Robin. HAHAHAHAHA! Was that a dig about his height? Ya, gotta love the 60's chic fawning over BATMAN. Who says a guy wearing a uniform isn't sexy? A lot of inner-city women getting arrested. But, Mon Ami, no arrests here ~~~ just a kind wish for you and your family. They're a lot of allegorical and metaphorical connotations attached to 2MORO's TRIUMPHANT EASTER RETURN, but my wish for you and your family is REAL. Perhaps, nothing promised, but the hope that GOOD FORTUNE continues to shine BRIGHT THINGS your way. HAPPY EASTER and GO OILERS!

Yeah - behind the likes of the Stars, Panthers, Avalanche, and Lightning - the VEGAS LINE has you guys in fifth position to take the CUP. But there are a significant amount of teams that can use their talent to MAKE SOME NOISE. It looks like the WESTERN CENTRAL boasts five teams in the playoffs. Sometimes, momentum going into the playoffs helps but so doesn't a HOT GOALIE in the crease. But I think that I will put my $$$ on SAN JOSE to go all the way ~~~ TEN-game losing streak doesn't hurt. HA!

Have a nice day up there. ;)

What a most fortunate turn of events, Mi Amigo, and - for you - a most welcomed $$$ one at that. Glad to hear that The FATES are shining some bright things your way. So, I promise not to dampen the mood and mention the KINGS' score. OUCH! Just in time for the playoff run and I am for sure the line from every locker-room must be the same; now that OVI broke the GR8 one's record, let's go WIN US A CUP!

Not sure who I'd give the edge to. The prognosticators give the edge to DALLAS (even though, they are on a six-game skid). Any thoughts, aside from your fealty to the OILERS? Anyway, Jim, enjoy the rest of your afternoon and a nice evening up there. Again, I am happy that the job prospects are starting to become more fortuitous. ;)

I'll take SEMI-NUDE HALF-BALED TRUCKERS IN THE PARKING LOT for $200, Alex <<< this sounds like some question from the Twilight Zone Jeopardy. What was his excuse? TOO MUCH NODOZ, MAN! Yeah, the over-capacity concerts that some places seemingly skirt sound good. I know firsthand that - with SRO seating - some of the bigger venues get past the listed or legal capacity. How they classify Standing Room Only is another question.

Speaking of STANDING ROOM ONLY; I wonder how well (or how quickly) the tickets will sell, for the probable upcoming series between the KINGS and your OILERS. Too bad the trucker wasn't frolicking about in a hockey jersey ... exclaiming for all to hear ... GO, YANKEES!

Ha, good to hear that you are getting $$$ some extra shifts, but don't forget to always take good care of you staying well. Have a Good Sunday up there and a bright start to the new week. Val KILMER had that certain allure and quintessential Hollywood looks ~~~ extremely talented actor that he was. ;)

Did COSELL ever call a hockey game? Even in death, the one thing that follows him is that football game quote about the guy running with the football. But, in hindsight, it was (as they call it) a slip of the tongue and no one could ever match the unparalleled nature of his signature voice. So, by chance, OVI gets a chance to break the record against the Islanders. About that empty net situation, I guess Alex said he wants to break the record with a goalie in the crease.

Speaking of creases and pleated pants; today is Sunday and - in a few weeks - everyone will don their EASTER best. I often wonder how the EASTER BUNNY got involved and whether this U.S. TARIFF WAR will influence his EGG DISTRIBUTION? HA, have a nice Sunday up there and a good start to the new week. Breaking news: next season, Gretsky comes out of retirement and plays for the OILERS. The papers read ... NO ONE WILL HOLD MY RECORD BUT ME. ;)

Speaking of scoring TOP SHELF ~~~ I see that Ovi tied the GR8 one @home and the Capitals' crowd went WILD. Gretsky, his lovely wife (Janet), and Gary Bettman were in town. Who says hockey sticks can't buy good plastic surgery. HA, so after a bit of a congratulatory DANCE ON ICE ... Ovi - empty net and all - decided not to take a chance of breaking it and made his way to the bench. So, the GR8 one's record will fall and a Russian named Alexander Mikhailovich Ovechkin will be THE ALL-TIME GOALS' LEADER. Perhaps, the CAPS cap it off (no pun intended) and win a Stanley Cup too.

If I had the means $$$ to pick you up and fly you to the home ice of the Islanders, we could (perhaps) watch OVI break the record. But the bank took the Gulfstream back and I don't know anyone in New York who might get us there. But I am told that 2MORO'S game will be on TNT. I do, though, have the ability to wish you a FINE SATURDAY to unfold. ENJOY!

There once was a guy who lived near the OILERS,
but he was always in fear of the SPOILERS
whether it be the KINGS, the KNIGHTS, or OVI himself
he always hoped that McDavid would score TOP SHELF

I can't figure the last line out, but I can wish you and yours a FINE WEEKEND ahead. Take care to ENJOY what April kindly offers.

Not sure if Ovi travels back and forth to the Mother Country, but you had once mentioned how they (Mother Russia) keep tabs on him. I am for sure that Putin will SMILE that a Russian will break and hold a North American record. I am typing tired and soon might take a quick nap. Not some excuse, but I see myself pausing at the keyboard. Yeah, I heard that Vlad is having trouble with his LIMOS. Obviously, as they say, someone wants to TAKE HIM OUT. But the former KGB operative is very stealthy in his keen ability to survive. ;) HAVE A GOOD ONE!

Good afternoon to your end of things, Mon Ami, and still wishing you a fine month of April. OVI was in Boston, last night, and tallied one goal. I guess he's four away from passing GENTLEMAN WAYNE and I call Gretsky that because of the way he is handling the chase to surpass his record. Unless an asteroid ends us all and the way OVI plays, I think the record should soon fall. The question begs in what city; Capitol One Arena in Washington or somewhere on the road.

I guess the NHL Commish is traveling in the Gretsky entourage. I heard last night that Ovechkin would have already broken the record (if not for the broken leg suffered earlier this season). So, possibly, a Moscow-born hockey player will soon hold the ALL-TIME GOALS RECORD <<< chilled vodka for all. Have a nice day out there. ;)
